General Sales Conditions
PREAMBULE
These general conditions comply with the distribution agreement terms established between LE PRODIGE and Astec Solutions Ltd and do not apply to other commercial transactions with bookstores or any other Astec Solutions Ltd client.
ARTICLE 1 - AVAILABILITY
The publications sold by LE PRODIGE on website www.leprodige.org are sold while supplies last.
Photographs depicting the publications are not contractual in nature, and the cover images are subject to modifications. Under no circumstances will the buyer claim these modifications as grounds to obtain a refund for their purchases.
ARTICLE 2 - PRICE
Prices for books sold through LE PRODIGE are established in Euros with taxes included. Shipping and handling are not included (see article 7). These prices are in strict observance of Law 81-766 of August 10, 1981. All orders are charged and payable in Euros regardless of where the order is placed.
LE PRODIGE reserves the right to modify its prices at all times, but Books will be charged based on the current prices at the time that the order is registered.
ARTICLE 3 - PAYMENT METHOD
The client can pay for publications via credit card at the www.leprodige.org, wire transfer, or a check issued by the post office or a cashier’s check.
Please note that no order will be sent until the payment has been received or its confirmation is received by the secure payment intermediary used by LE PRODIGE.
Payment by credit card
Payment must be paid in Euros using a VISA, Mastercard, or another card.
The client can pay securely online.
Transactions made on the site are guaranteed to be secure. All credit card information is encrypted and is never sent to LE PRODIGE. LE PRODIGE only keeps a transaction number to identify orders.
LE PRODIGE also accepts payments via Paypal.
ARTICLE 4 - CLIENT COMMITMENT
By clicking on the order confirmation button, the client accepts the order and all general sales conditions.
ARTICLE 5 - PROCESSING ORDERS
LE PRODIGE systematically confirms client orders made on the www.leprodige.org by sending a confirmation email. Delivery times include order processing times.
ARTICLE 6 - PROPRIETE INTELLECTUELLE
All comments, text, publications, illustrations and images on www.leprodige.org are copyright-protected throughout the world. According to the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, use and reproduction (printing, downloads) are strictly authorized for private use. All partial or total reproduction of LE PRODIGE website is strictly prohibited.
LE PRODIGE and its graphic identity are patented and protected.
ARTICLE 7 - LIABILITY
Publications on the www.leprodige.org site are published according to current applicable French law. LE PRODIGE will not be held liable in case of violating the laws of the country where the publications are sent to (due to censure laws, banned titles or authors, etc.) It is the client’s responsibility to check with local authorities regarding importing or using publications that they intend to purchase.
LE PRODIGE will not be held liable for breach of contract in case a publication is unavailable, out of stock, in cases of force majeure, interference or strikes of post offices and transportation and/or communication companies.
www.leprodige.org may use hyperlinks to send users to other websites. LE PRODIGE releases themselves from all liability if these sites violate current and applicable legal provisions and regulations in France or any other country.
ARTICLE 8 - PERSONAL INFORMATION CONFIDENTIALITY
LE PRODIGE handles all client information with the utmost confidentiality. This information is solely for internal use to process orders and personalize the content offered in the newsletters that are sent free of charge on www.leprodige.org
In conformity with article 34 of the “Data Processing and Individual Liberties Act” of January 6, 1978, the client has the right to access and rectify their personal information. To exercise this right, the client must contact THE PRODIGY by email or mail with their first and last name, email address, and if applicable, a customer ISBN.
ARTICLE 9 - APPLICABLE LAW
In case of dispute, the French courts are the only competent courts.
ARTICLE 10 - RAFFLE AND GAME MANAGEMENT
